Rayna is an access and privacy paralegal with the firm’s Regina office.
Rayna started with the firm as a corporate legal assistant and has since transitioned to an access and privacy paralegal. She advances compliance with privacy/data protection and security laws in an innovative, risk-based manner.
Rayna interprets privacy legislation and processes access to information requests for clients under applicable provincial and federal legislation. This includes reviewing and clarifying requests, determining allowable release of information, coordinating collection of all responsive records, redactions of records and preparing communications. She is proficient in privacy through client training, interactions, reports and management presentations. She assists with responses to privacy regulators in the applicable jurisdiction for reviews pursuant to applicable provincial or federal legislation.
