Based in Winnipeg, David practises in the area of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law, with an emphasis on public company, private equity and large private company transactions.

Alain Gaucher, K.C.

Alain is a leading lawyer with extensive experience in the areas of personal and business succession planning, high net worth estate planning, corporate tax and shareholder agreements. Alain works with a broad client base of individuals, SMEs and large corporations to produce business structures and processes that are as tax efficient as possible. He has extensive experience with provincial, national and international tax issues, and also provides tax litigation advice in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Ryan Hallman

Ryan is a partner in the firm’s Saskatoon corporate/commercial practice group. His practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions with significant experience advising both sellers and buyers across various industries and sectors. He also acts for lenders and borrowers in complex commercial lending arrangements. Ryan has extensive experience in the M&A space, acting for both vendors and purchasers in share, asset and hybrid transactions across various industries.

Stathy Markatos

Stathy advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on M&A, venture and private capital and securities law. He has experience with public offerings, private placements, continuous disclosure and corporate governance matters. He has acted as counsel on the formation and capital raising for numerous investment funds. Stathy has also acted for buyers, sellers and target companies on significant M&A transactions, including transactions in the agribusiness, agri-tech, manufacturing, equipment sales, financial services and energy sectors.

Jordan Riese

Jordan is a corporate/commercial lawyer whose Winnipeg practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions. He has significant experience advising both private and public companies on complex transactions involving businesses in a variety of industries, including agriculture, aviation, insurance/financial services, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

Todd Rosenberg, K.C., FCPA, FCA

Todd advises corporations, partnerships, pensions and individuals on tax efficient ownership structures, real estate transactions, tax loss utilization transactions, complex trust and estate planning, and the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing and corporate restructuring. He also deals extensively with provincial, national and international tax issues, and provides tax litigation advice on disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Aaron Runge

Aaron serves as managing partner of the firm. Prior to his appointment as managing partner, Aaron’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture and private capital, corporate finance and securities law. Aaron has acted for buyers, sellers and target companies on several significant domestic and international M&A transactions.
