Justin is an experienced commercial litigator based in the firm’s Winnipeg office.
Justin practises corporate and commercial litigation with a particular focus on oil and gas and energy matters. He has a proven track record in handling complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes, having worked on some of the most high-profile cases in both Canada and Bermuda.
He has worked on matters before all levels of court in Alberta, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of Canada, and various hearing and arbitration panels for self-regulating organizations.
Justin obtained his Juris Doctor with distinction in 2016 at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. During his time there, he received multiple scholarships, achieving top grades and awards in Contract Law, Trusts and Securities Regulation. Following law school, Justin clerked for the Alberta Court of Appeal in Calgary before being admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2018.
