Ryan is a partner in the firm’s Saskatoon corporate/commercial practice group. His practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions with significant experience advising both sellers and buyers across various industries and sectors. Ryan also acts for lenders and borrowers in complex commercial lending arrangements.

Ryan has extensive experience in the mergers and acquisitions space, acting for both vendors and purchasers in share, asset and hybrid transactions across various industries. Ryan’s mergers and acquisition experience includes interacting with the Competition Bureau as well as negotiating shareholders agreements, joint venture arrangements and advising on governance matters related to mergers. He also acts for a diverse group of commercial lenders with experience across the spectrum of lending.

In addition, Ryan maintains a forestry law practice, advising various lumber companies on business and regulatory matters.

He provides the firm’s clients with practical and timely advice, with a focus on ensuring clients achieve their business goals in an efficient, pragmatic and collaborative way.

Ryan attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan where he was awarded the Law Society of Saskatchewan Silver Medal, Ron Fritz Prize in Law, Eldon Woolliams Scholarship and the William Elliot Scholarship in Law.
