Corporate Governance
Our lawyers have worked closely with boards and other governing bodies on corporate governance matters, helping them keep abreast of best practices in the evolving world of corporate governance and the heightened environment of corporate responsibility.
We regularly review legislative changes that may affect the public, private and not-for-profit boards that we advise, and recommend best practices for effective governance and oversight, efficient process, proper due diligence, regulatory compliance, and meeting reporting and disclosure requirements. We have provided governance reviews and governance advice for Greystone Managed Investments, the Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation, Regina Airport Authority, Farm Credit Canada, Cameco Corporation, and other public and private companies, institutions and government entities with operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
